Aizawl, Sept 8: Dr. Josephine Little Flower, Nursing Adviser to Government of India, Health & Family Welfare and Dr. Tanu Sri Sahu, Senior Research Officer, NIAHS, TSU, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare arrived here today to inspect the various Nursing Programmes in Mizoram under the State Health & Family Welfare Department.
The inspecting Central officials held discussion with the state Health Department leaders and Nursing Association leaders at Secretariat Conference Hall over the steps taken and the needs concerning Nursing Services in Mizoram.

The inspecting Central officials expressed their satisfaction over the utlilization of assistance funds from the Centre when the same was reviewed during the meeting.

Later in the day, after the discussion meeting, a practical demonstration on Online Scheme Monitoring System, Online Registration and Nursing Report was given at Mizoram College of Nursing (MCON).
The Central officials also inspected MCON buildings and appreciated the same.
