Aizawl, Nov 4: Chief Minister Lal Thanhawla today said Kolodyne Multi Model Transit Transport Project under the Look East Policy of the Central Government would bring in big development for Southern Mizoram.
But, if the youth in the State do not prepare with Fear of God and Fidelity, this big development and wealth my turn a ruin than a boon, he said.
Chief Minister was addressing Mara youth in Siaha town on the occasion of Mara Students’ Organization Gen. Hqrs. Golden Jubilee celebration. Chief Minister was the Chief Guest.
He extended best wishes to the jubilant Mara youths to live a faithful, industrious, and clean life so as to be worth a model for others.
The Golden Jubilee Celebration programme of MSO Gen.Hqrs held at Multipurpose Community Hall, Council Vaih was also graced by Ex-Minister and first MSO President S. Hiato as Guest of Honour. A citation was presented on the occasion to all the past Presidents and Gen. Secretaries of MSO, Gen. Hqrs.
Golden Jubilee Special Award was also posthumously given to Rev. Reginald Arthur Lorrain, the first Missionary to Maraland and pioneer in education and to Dr. S.Hrachu, the first to hold Doctorate degree in Mara Literature and composer of MSO Theme song.
Golden Jubilee Souvenir was also released on the occasion today which also witnessed the presence of Hiphei, Speaker Mizoram Legislative Assembly, the Chief Guest yesterday, RT Zachono CEM, MADC, DC, SP, Heads of Offices, and leaders of Churches, Localities, and Organisations of Siaha District.
Besides media persons, representatives of Mizo Zirlai Pawl (MZP) Gen. Hqrs, Lai Students’ Association (LSA) Gen.Hqrs and Mara Students’ Association (MSA) Gen. Hqrs. in Myanmar were also present. After MSO Programme, CM Lal Thanhawla visited Siaha District Civil Hospital and MADC, CEM Bungalow which are under construction.
