Aizawl, Oct 11: There are many among the government servants who lack the sense of ownership but work with the mindset of mere wage earner, and their very attitude to earn more by working less easily leads to corruption, CM Lal Thanhawla said while interacting with Mizoram Civil Service (MCS) probationers, who met him yesterday evening at his office.
The Chief Minister called on the MCS trainees to do away with this wrongful Work Less Earn More attitude. He also told the State Civil Service probationers that they are supposed to stand bold for truth and remain free from corruption.
CM also advised them to fulfill the high people’s expectation on them and to deal friendly with the laity and also to sincerely maintain good conduct.

The government shall also give more importance now and later to the ‘performance link promotion’ system as per the recommendation of 2nd Administrative Reforms Commission, Chief Minister said.
The 15 MCS probationers who met the Chief Minister are now undergoing training at Administrative Training Institute (ATI). They were led by ATI Director Ramdinliani and Jt.Director Pi Angela Zothanpuii.
Besides apprising the CM of the system of training at ATI, MCS probationers put up their suggestions for further improvement and how MCS officers may make use of the training programme more than now.
Chief Minister was with Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Lalram Thanga and Principal Adviser to Chief Minister R.L.Rinawma.
