Aizawl, Oct 1: Mizoram today launched e-Payment system and is the first among the NE States to use this new IT service.
Finance Minister Lalsawta inaugurated the e-Payment System via Government Payment Gateway (GePG) for Mizoram here at Aizawl South Treasury.
It is thankful and remarkable that with the advancement in technology, in Mizoram too, bills are now passed using electronic payment (e-payment) system and the government servants are getting their salary through their bank account, Lalsawta said.
Thanking National Informatics Centre (NIC) and all the people who worked for the success of e-payment, the State Finance Minister said that E-payment will ease the process of money can you buy neurontin online transaction and would also help reduce huge pileup of files.
Not only that we enter a new chapter but also the fact that Mizoram is the first among the NE States to launch e-payment is indeed remarkable, he added.
Now through e-payment, when DDO is to submit Bills at Treasury, he will submit the same using e-Bill Software. A website dat.mizoram.gov.in has also been developed for the e-Payment system.
The e-payment launching function in the day was presided over by Finance Commissioner LN Tochhawng while Aizawl South Treasury Officer Sangkhawma gave technical report and Finance Secretary F.Vanlalruata concluded the programme with vote of thanks.
