Addressing the party meeting just before the release of candidates list, Zoramthanga said the upcoming AMC poll will be a decisive battle between the bad and the good as he dubbed Congress as being tainted with corruption.
Pointing to the candidates, he said, “Why should you fear and lack confidence as you are going to fight with the candidates of a tainted party”.
Zorama said that about 50% of voters in AMC area are neutral and MNF’s primary objective will be winning the heart of these voters. “Do you believe these voters (neutrals) will wholeheartedly concede to Congress, a party that defiled its reputation due to corruption, by saying it is rich and trustworthy”, he questioned, adding MNF has a bright future in the coming AMC polls.

“The fight is now between the people who fight for God and the nation and the people who even dare to bow down before idols and spotted red on forehead despite being Christian. God will bless us and I hope we would surely win the election”.
The erstwhile rebel leader and MNF president said that his party has a readymade plan or schemes to develop and upgrade the state capital.
He added that MNF would establish a stable government and develop the city if it come to power in the coming election.
