Aizawl, Feb 24: The Mizo National Youth Front (MNYF) said that it would organized a rally under the banner ‘Mizo National Youth Rally’ in view of the 50 years (Golden Jubilee) of independence proclamation.
The joint meeting of the youth wing blocks today said it will organized motor cycle rally on 29 February in the state capital ahead of the celebration of the 50 years of Independence declaration by Mizo which would fall on first March.
The rally to be called ‘Mizo National Youth Rally’ would begin at 11 near Vanapa Hall, a leader of MNYF media cell said.
The joint meeting of MNYF block also passed a resolution blaming the state government for directing taxi drivers to service on alternate turn under the pretext of easing traffic jam. It accused Congress government of ignoring academic institution which was responsible for the ongoing agitation at Thingsai village for allocation of teacher and headmasters at government schools.
