Aizawl, Nov 4: Organised by Department of Public Administration, Mizoram University (MZU) a 2 day worldwide seminar on the theme “Governance of India, problems and prospects” would be organized at the University campus during 5 – 6 November.
Speaking to media in a press conference Tuesday, Prof. Lalneihzova, Head, Department of Public Administration, MZU said 70 out of 90 paper abstracts submitted for the proposed seminar have been accepted.
He said that state chief secretary Lalmalsawma, IAS would inaugurate the 2 day seminar which would be attended by intellectual people across the globe. Prof R. Lalthantluanga, Vice Chancellor (VC), MZU and Prof. AK Sharma, founder VC of MZU would grace the seminar as guest of honour.
Prof. Ashok Sharma, Jaipur University; Prof. Neelima Deshmukh, Nagpur University; Prof. Tetsuya, Japan; Lt. Dr. Manit Boonprong, Thaksin University, Thailand; Prof. Mahendra P. Lama, Founder VC, Sikkim University; Prof. PK Dutta, Kolkatta University; Prof. Y. Pardhasaradhi, Osmania University and Prof. Sushma Yadav, Pro VC, IGNOU, Delhi would give special lecture on the occasion, Prof. Lalneihzova told reporters.
In connection with the seminar, the department of Public Administration, MZU would also celebrate Pearl Jubilee to mark its 30 birth anniversary, Prof. Lalneihzova said.
