Aizawl (Mizonews.Net): With Assembly elections round the corner, various political parties in Mizoram have geared up to woo voters.
The opposition party, Mizo National Front (MNF), yesterday launched the ‘Socio-Economic Development Programme(SEDP)’ in Aizawl which will be the framwaork for governance if voted to power.
The SEDP was launched by Mizo National Front (MNF) president and former chief minister Zoramthanga. The event was presided by Dr.R.Lalthangliana, MNF Vice President. Dr.Thangtea, who is also the MNF Programme & Policy Drafting Committee said that the other programme drafted by the Committee were also ready. “But, as it is a thick book, all of them are not released today, only the SEDP is released and the other programme are to be launched later,” he added.
Dr.Thangtea also underlined various needs in political relating to the state boundary, Zo Re-Unification (ZORO), rising the Mizo language and to protect the religion of Christianity are the other step to be taken he added.
